A Glass Prairie : Exhibition

During the month of March, ART ON ARMITAGE: a window gallery will present Lindsay Obermeyer's A Glass Prairie, an installation that pays homage to the beauty of our natural landscape.  Fashioned from hundreds of beads and yards of wire, each wildflower is a facsimile of those native to the Midwest.  A Glass Prairie will grow over the duration of the exhibition as new flowers are added to the installation each week, filling the space with color and hope for our fragile ecosystem.

The public is invited to an artist's reception on Sunday March 7th, from 4pm to 6pm.
