Gallery Talk October 8 , 2010 5-7:00 pmMy topic will be "Visual Artist's Urban Impact and the Urban Impact on Artists" Art is the selected expression of our reaction to our surroundings or urban environment. The use of our surrounding as studio and man's reaction to the city as studio is expressed by means of a medium in visual art.  Urban environment impact is not art but our artist's reaction is the art. This relationship with environment and art is art, by the action artists take to promote improvisation, transcription and transposition to create visually. We artists use media to transfer our impressions into a form which is visual art and thus contributing to the civic dialogue and quality of life.
